The Century High School Class of 1984 monthly update Welcome Class of 1985! We went to school with, hung out with, shared winning and losing with and even dated people from other classes. So I have invited the classes of 1981 to 1987 to join the message boards and profiles. We have gotten quite a few responses from the class of 1985. I hope a lot more will join. I have added two news pages to
the website. One is Fun Facts. So if you have any ideas to add please pass them on. An example is
who has the most kids.
Another might be first grandma or grandpa. I know some of you have kids
who have or should be graduating from high school. I know there is a BHS 1981 grad who has 6 grandchildren. In the next newsletter I would love to post holiday wishes, holiday photos and Halloween photos. If you'd like to share a holiday wish or your family photo please email them to me before December 25th and I'll post them. I would also love to post any Halloween photos of you or your kids. So send those please. UPDATE: I reported last month of a birth, "Son, Thomas and Jill Ackerman, Bismarck, 7:44 p.m., Sept. 30". That would be Jill (Olson) Ackerman. Congrats! Also more twins to add: Kim (Kouba)
Gerkin has twin boys. I have also found three more teachers; Brad Ruff, Sandra Derickson and Bill Baron. Check out the teachers page for more on them. If you know where any teacher is please let me know. Well that's it for now. Remember to add your profile. It's a great way to catch up. And send in any old or new photos. REMEMBER WHEN... At Halloween time one year we had a group of guys dress up as the Fruit of the Loom fruit. I remember Glenn Mandigo was a banana and Roger Palmer I think where the grapes. Does anyone else remember any others that dress up as fruit? Did you dress up for Halloween this year? If you have a photo please send it in. I would love to share them. Click here to add your Remember When...
Bismarck had is first blanket of white in October. It was several weeks earlier than last year. Federal prosecutors are seeking the death penalty
for the first time in North Dakota. The trial for Alfonso Rodriguez Jr.
has not been set yet. Rodriguez is accused of killing University of North
Dakota student Dru Sjodin nearly a year ago. Sjodin, 22, disappeared from
a Grand Forks parking lot Nov. 22 after leaving her job at a Victoria's Secret.
Her body was found in April, after months of searching by family members and
volunteers, in a ravine near Crookston, Minn., where Rodriguez, 51, was living
with his mother. Rodriguez, a convicted rapist, was charged in May with
kidnapping resulting in the death of Sjodin. He has pleaded not guilty.
The Patriot football team made it to the state quarter finals. But Two Century cross country runners were
All-State at the State Cross Country Championships. One placed 10th out of
163 girl's and the other 13th out of 177 boy's. If you have anything you would like to add or have a comment, Email
