CONGRATS!!!

Lots of changes for Brian Rhode & his wife Suzanne since the last reunion. They are expecting in early April!  Their first or should I say first TWO!  Twins!  Brian says YIKES!.
They also bought a house in Mt Vernon (Virginia right outside DC) and have been engaged in the never ending unpacking process.  They are excited, but know that life will be crazy.

Brett Krueger "We are pregnant and expecting very soon, April 20."

TRAVELS ABROAD

Roger Palmer & his wife Anita flew to Tasmania after Christmas to present at an International
Geography Conference and to try and put together a training class in the main part of the continent, perhaps Brisbane or Queensland.  Hopefully when things settle Roger will send us pictures!

40th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Can you believe it? 40!  Jim Porter, Randy Palmer and Kent Scherr are running their first marathon together in June to celebrate turning  40.   Kent will come up from NC and
meet them in Deadwood, SD for it.  They are trying to convince Roger to meet them there also.  Sounds like a good time!  They welcome others to join.

CHS GRAD UPDATE

Jill (Olson) Ackerman has worked in the field of communications since graduating from Moorhead State University. After working 12 years at St. Alexius Medical Center, she was recruited by the Sisters of Annunciation Monastery to be their first director of communications.  After much consideration, she decided to give it a whirl. She knew and loved many of the sisters through her experience at the medical center (the sisters sponsor St. Alexius), the position sounded like an exciting
challenge, and it offered more flexibility for her to run her three children: Halli (8), Hanna (5) and Hunter (1) here and there. She loves it - misses the medical center - but overall, it has been a great move.

She has spent many years singing with the Bis/Man Civic Chorus (with Dawn (Evans) Haggerot - cool!)but is on hiatus this year to hone up on some graphic design classes. Her husband, Thomas, is also a communications director at University of Mary (so they never run out of things to talk about with each other!) Tom is a great football enthusiast and enjoys photography and video production. Jill believes University of Mary is constantly in the media because of her husband's efforts. (Of
course, she's not at all biased!).

Here is a Blog the faithful may find interesting.  It's a guy from Mandan (Clint Leingang) who writes this to keep those who have moved away up to date on things around Bismarck-Mandan . It's not much, but it may be interesting to some.
