February 1984:   During a JV game against Williston they CHS gym filled up early.  The Patriot fans wanted revenge against the Coyotes for giving them there first loss in Williston. Security guards were told not to let anymore fans into the gym.   But many fans still made it in.  Quote from the Century Star, "Many CHS fans were sneaking in students..."

The Country Corner, later named Common Cents was relocated for two reasons.  One congestion in the hall and second people could reach behind the counter to take candy and reach into the cash register.

Fourteen students opted for early graduation.

A controversy over the "cute" yellow shirt &
blue shorts.  Many students didn't want to
wear the new gym uniform.  Though on Ebay
now you might be able to sell it for a couple of
bucks.  The "retro" look is in for a lot of
teens.  Especially if it's original and not a remake.
